Pure Canadian Honey

Liquid Honey

Honey bees gather nectar from a vast diversity of wildflowers to feed the hive.  Eastern Canada offers some of the best biodiverse landscapes for honey bees to forage on.  That is what gives Atlantic Gold Honey its complex full-bodied flavour.  Every jar of honey offers its own diverse floral source.  If honey granulates in the bottle it can be melted back down to liquid by putting the jar in warm water.

Cream Honey

Honey tends to naturally crystallize over time.  We are able to control this process by adding a “seed” to liquid honey.  This “seed” is honey that is already crystallized in a soft creamy form.  After several days of mixing, the entire batch has replicated the seed.  We then can put it into bottles.

Beeswax

Our beeswax is harvested from our own hives during our honey extracting process.  We use a press to squeeze all the honey out of the wax.  Beeswax can be used for many different things like candles, lip balm, soap, leather treatment, wood treatment, and other health and beauty products.  People have been using beeswax for all kinds of things for thousands of years.

Beeswax Candles

Pure beeswax candles are the cleanest burning candles that you can buy.  Beeswax candles also burn incredibly bright and are very long-lasting.  Our candles are made from pure beeswax that we are able to harvest during our regular honey harvest.  A rough rule of thumb when burning larger pillar candles is to let the candle burn for at least one hour per every inch in diameter the candle is.  This should lead to more uniform burning.  Do not leave candles burning unattended.
